About Me:
|
I've filled out so many of these things lately, I have nothing left to say. I'm 31, a college graduate, organic gardener, pursuer of various hobbies and occasional gainful employment. There ya go.

August 4th 2008: The squash is still doing well, but the cucumbers died of wilt. :-( Tomatoes are coming on, though, with the first tiny hint of reddish. Tonight I steamed a big batch of New Zealand spinach--that stuff is AWESOME. It's been growing like crazy all spring and summer, and doesn't show any sign of stopping.
July some time: Squash season has begun! I've had homegrown organic summer squash as part of dinner every night this week, and unloaded a few extra on my neighbors. Cucumbers are coming on like crazy, too--the next batch will probably get donated to my local food co-op, which has fallen on hard times lately.
